MANDATE: To search for a CTO who could run the technology department of a rapid-growth Fintech whilst focusing on the delivery & development of Operational Resilience and Information/Data security.

SOLUTION: We worked closely with the CEO to determine exactly the type of company they wanted the individual to come from in terms of sector (financial markets/derivatives knowledge was required) and growth trajectory the company had been through. We built a market map of relevant companies, targeting key individuals within, all approached using discreet headhunting methodology. From this, we developed a long list of 10 individuals. Six candidates were seen at the first stage, three seen at the second, and two went through to the final stage, with a successful offer/placement made within five weeks.
